II Chronicles 5:13-14
"It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth forever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD; So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God."
Music Ministry Vision Statement
The RCI Music Department, as one body unified in spirit and with a heart of purity, purposes:
- To lead the people of God into His presence through thanksgiving, praise and worship.
- To glorify God and to humbly serve Him in a spirit of excellence as ministers of music, hope, and agape love.
- To prayerfully and consistently position RCI as a worshipping church led to the throne of God by musicians and singers of technical expertise and spiritual maturity flowing together in unity.
Music Ministry Mission Statement
- To inspire, encourage, train, and direct those whom God has called into the music ministry with a spirit of service, excellence, sensitivity, purity, humility and strength.
Music Ministry Goals
- To identify and develop the musical talent of the church, inspiring fellow
- musicians, fellow worship leaders as well as the congregation through the use of musical talents
- To provide a variety of instruments/styles with different teams, in order to allow the congregation to fully express praise to our Lord
- To emphasize a spirit of worship while maintaining musical excellence
Volunteer Opportunities and Requirements necessary to getting involved in the adult choir:
Requirements necessary to getting involved in the Adult Choir and Orchestra:
- Must have a personal, born again relationship with Jesus Christ
- Must have attended RCI
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must complete a successful audition
- Must attend weekly rehearsals, currently held Thursday evenings, 6:30pm - 8:30pm in the main sanctuary.
- Must be able to sing in at least 1 service per week
- Must be able to commit to at least 1 full year of ministry with the choir
- Must be committed to worshipping the Lord

How to Get Involved:
Pick up a RCI Choir or Volunteer application at the Information Booth, complete it, and turn it back in to the Information Booth.
