The Power of the Word is the broadcast arm of Redemption Church. Dr. Ed King has been broadcasting on radio and or television for over 30 years.
With beginnings on local radio in the late 1970's and adding television to his outreach shortly thereafter, Dr. King is seen and heard several times per week in Knoxville and surrounding areas.
Because of his dedication to using the broadcast medium for God, countless numbers of lives have been touched and changed in positive ways.
The Power of the Word television programs are produced "in-house" and are quite successful. The television program enjoys top ratings in the vast majority of the time slots it occupies.
Dr. King has an intense desire to reach the lost and the "unchurched" person with the victorious and life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
