Xtreme is not a youth group. - It's a movement!
A movement of young lives towards a higher purpose. Walk through the doors of Xtreme and you are welcomed into an environment where friendliness is valued and possibilities thrive. Xtreme is a ministry that offers exactly what young people need to excel in their world.
Xtreme Hope:
Each week young people age's 12-18 gather on Sunday and Wednesday nights to experience more of God. Xtreme Sunday nights are geared towards discipleship and spiritual growth with small groups and all worship nights to encourage the young people on a weekly basis. Xtreme Wednesday nights are designed specifically as an outreach to provide excitement and hope to the middle of the school week. Students who are truly involved in Xtreme are consistently taken to a whole new spiritual level.
Xtreme Entertainment:
The moment you enter Xtreme's facilities it's evident that it is a ministry that rests on the cutting edge of technology. Boasting seven flat screens, six Mac computers, three X-box 360's and one Nintendo Wii, Xtreme is technologically relevant in every way, yet the entertainment doesn't end there. Xtreme offers numerous big events throughout the year from dodge ball tournaments to fashion shows and everything in between. At Xtreme, there is always something there for you.
Xtreme Food:
Hunger is a rare feeling around Xtreme. After every Wednesday night service a different fast food is featured in Xtreme cafe with prices that will please the wallet. And if it's Xtreme thirst that you experience, we've got it covered from energy drinks to sodas Xtreme cafe is always open and they have it all. Not only that, but food is also featured at big events and is made tastier by the fact that it's all you can eat for free!
Xtreme Love:
Aside from everything that's offered at Xtreme Student Ministries, the most important thing of all is the relevant teaching and the dynamic worship that together brings students to a closer love of God. Each week Pastor Tim Defendorf brings an applicable and relevant word from God that the students can carry with them throughout the rest of their week and beyond. The purpose of Xtreme is to provide a refuge in an ever changing world where teens feel relieved when they walk in and renewed when they walk out.
